Watched movie Lucia yesterday, brilliant concept, well executed. I went with high expectations as i wanted to watch it with a critic's mindset. I wasn't disappointed but it could have been much better without songs. Songs seemed hindering to the flow of the story, and out of place, luckily there are only few, so could tolerate it, also positives overpowered negatives much more.
Movie in general is associated with insomnia and lucid dreaming, Straight forward story, not hard to grasp whatsoever. narration is gripping, appearing of the characters in his dreams before he actually sees them can be quite confusing, but at the end it all gets cleared. I wished that part should have been prolonged bit more, as it would be more confusing for the audience.
Nikki was about die to live his dream life, He was killed to bring him back to his real life. Yes, as told at the end of the movie, our small life is simply a big dream, death is not the end, but awakening to the reality. Awesome!!
